Its response speed is 4 orders of magnitude higher than that of traditional VOA, reaching 100ns level, making it possible to quickly control optical power in WDM optical network. In addition, its ultra-low optical loss can meet the requirements of civil optical network applications, its extremely high integration helps to greatly reduce the module size, and its pure solid-state waveguide chip makes it have excellent reliability.
